Drewry Club Lamb Stud Rams
Introducing

Bought from the Buckeye state,
Here’s another super
topped, smooth shouldered, big racked, powerfully hipped ram.
Mapmaker’s done a lot for
our program but Buckwheat is a new level of ram in our flock
Buckwheat has been Bob Fields’ Hampshire
buck for the last two years.
When we bought Field Marshall,
Bob offered us the chance to get Buckwheat if we waited until mid September.
Pictures show Buckwheat in the
middle of breeding season, as he arrived at our farm.

We

As a ram lamb
RRNN
Ellerbrock bred – Drewry Club Lamb raised
** Square Topped ** Thick Deep Leg ** Big Boned **
Long Clean Fronted **
We’ve gotten some extremely thick sheep from
H-Bomb and some extremely long lambs from Turnaround.
We wanted our next ram to retain the bone and strong
tops H-Bomb and Turnaround have given us, but in an even better balanced
package.
Meet Mapmaker!
Sire – Pretty Caesar, sire of: 2006
Ohio State Fair Champion, 2008 Arkansas 4-H Grand Champion, 3rd
highest selling ram 2006 MWRS,

Selling wether sire and champ and reserve champ crossbred wether dams at 07
MWRS
Dam – Eva Ellerbrock 4687, high selling
and lead ewe lamb in the 2006 Ellerbrock production sale
Eva is sired by Blue Cabaniss; she is a very correct ewe loaded with eye appeal
Lisa wanted to use her 2006 MN State Fair Auction
money to buy a “really good ewe”
Ellerbrock’s in our opinion have had more state
champions than any other flock in the last few years so
we decided to go to Ellerbrock’s production sale
and see if we could get our first choice.
Our first impression at the sale was WOW!
Ellerbrock’s are selling a lot of really nice ewes
We’d marked Eva as a “must see” ewe
from the on-line catalog
Seeing was believing! We picked her as the top ewe in
the sale.
